The prof. Genebaldo Freire acts as independent consultant in the following areas:
- Implementation of Programs / Projects for Environmental Education in institutions / enterprises; pre-requirements for the implementation of environmental management programs;
- Promotion of conferences and lectures to raise awareness about environmental issues;
- Promotion of training courses for teachers on grounds of environmental education, development of projects and update courses in interdisciplinary practices of environmental education;
- Development of instructional resources and institutional;
- Execution of audits of aducação environmental programs in place.
Major References:
1. Planned, developed, implemented and evaluated the Program for Environmental Education's Cetrel SA, petrochemical of Pólo Camacari, Bahia (www.cetrel.com.br). Developed the Agenda 21 for Cetrel, the first plant to have a Brazilian Agenda 21. The undertaking of environmental protection, holds Integrated Management System (ISO-9000, ISO-14000 and OHSAS-18000) has won several awards from environmental and National Quality Award. It's Cetrel consultant since 1997.
2. Planned, implemented and evaluated the Environmental Education Program at the Catholic University of Brasilia (1999 - 2007), composed of stages of diagnosis, awareness and deployment of elements of environmental management as selective collection, composting, preciclagem, Center for reuse, conservation of energy electrical, maintenance of sound quality, rationalization of water use (reuse), creation of corps of volunteers and others (www.ucb.br).
3. Planned, coordinated and implemented the Program of Environmental Education of the National Park of Brasilia (IBAMA, DF). Developed strategies for client service internally and externally. Set up the Center for Visitors and implemented various components of socio-environmental interpretation (Isle of meditation, riachinho, maze and other elements of sense-perception) (1999 to 2006);
4. Free University of Environment of Curitiba. During four years formed groups of people in the environmental area, on grounds of Environmental Education (1992 to 1997).
